Private jet charter and flights to Zambia

Adventure awaits in Zambia, home to remote national parks, adrenalin-pumping activities and one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. Air Charter Service can charter flights to Zambia, allowing you to spend as much time as possible exploring its epic natural landscapes rather than queueing in airports. Let our team arrange a private jet to ensure an exclusive experience from the moment you leave home.

Zambia’s capital is Lusaka – a rapidly developing city with a sprawling market and the National Museum – but the town of Livingstone is the country’s tourist hotspot, for one key reason: it’s the gateway to the spectacular Victoria Falls. Located on the raging Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe, ‘Vic Falls’ is the world’s largest curtain of falling water, with up to 500 million cubic metres per minute crashing down into the gorge below.

Named after pioneering Scottish explorer David Livingstone, Livingstone is around a 20-minute drive from the falls. Instead of staying in the town itself, consider one of the excellent luxury safari lodges and colonial hotels dotted nearby along the river. David Livingstone named the falls in honour of Queen Victoria, however locals call it Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘the smoke that thunders’. On the Zambian side, attractions include Knife Edge Bridge and the iconic cliff-side Devil’s Pool. Taking a dip here is only for the most adventurous travellers, and thrill-seekers can also try white-water rafting, microlight flights and bungee jumping while in town.

Zambia also has its fair share of national parks, where you can hope to spot wildlife including the Big Five. The Lower Zambezi National Park is such a special area that until 1993 it was the president's own private game reserve. Bordering Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools, this pristine wilderness on the banks of the Zambezi River offers year-round game viewing away from the crowds, with huge elephant herds, leopard, lion and wild dog, as well as over 400 species of bird.

In the east of the country, South Luangwa National Park is home to a host of wildlife attracted to the Luangwa River and its tributaries. The first-ever mobile walking safari took place here, an exciting activity that’s great for honing tracking skills and allows for close encounters with giraffe, warthog and impala. Meanwhile, in western Zambia, Kafue is one of the world’s biggest national parks – roughly the size of Wales. Game viewing here is trickier due to its vast expanses, but visitors are rewarded with a true wilderness experience. The park is known for its big cats and herds of antelope, and in the remote south there are pods of hippos inhabiting Lake Itezhi-Tezhi.

When chartering a flight to Zambia, we recommend flying into Livingstone Airport – which is suitable for a variety of private jets – but there are plenty of other airports around the country. From Livingstone, it’s also easy to hop over into neighbouring Zimbabwe and Botswana for further wildlife viewing. Simply contact our team and we’ll arrange everything you need to charter a private jet to Zambia and beyond.
