Malé International Airport is actually called Ibrahim Nasir International Airport and is an international airport with its own aerodrome where you’ll find pontoon after pontoon of twin ottwe sea planes lined up ready to whisk you off to your idyllic Maldivian island escape. There’s also a jetty right outside allowing you to hop on a boat if your resort is a little closer. There’s only one terminal and the airport can close at certain times.
