Jacksons International Airport, which is often referred to as Port Moresby Airport, is the largest airport in Papua New Guinea. The airport is situated 8 kilometres outside of the capital of Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby. The airport has two passenger terminals, one international terminal and one domestic terminal. The two terminals are connected via a foot bridge. The airport originally had two runways but the shorter of the two has now closed. The airport is capable of accommodating aircraft of varying sizes. The airport’s close proximity to Port Moresby makes it an ideal choice for those travelling by private jet.
