ABOUT THIS AIRCRAFT
The MD 11 has an almost identical range to the B747, but a slightly lower payload capacity. It has three turbofan engines and is suited to long haul flights. The aircraft also features an entirely digital glass cockpit display system, which eliminates the need for a flight engineer.
